Donate PinkIt was a snowy day in December when Lucy was found wandering aimlessly on a highway outside of Omaha. She was thin and her coat was filthy. Fortunately for Lucy, a kind lady picked her up and brought her to NHS. Upon examination, the NHS veterinarian discovered that she was carrying a little of puppies.

One of the NHS foster families welcomed Lucy into their home and gave her a comfortable, clean room to bring her puppies into the world. Lucy and her babies are resting comfortably now in a safe and quiet home. Soon, they will be looking for homes of their very own, and will go their separate ways.
