Help Me Provide Hope to Homeless Animals
Your support to my Walk for the Animals page will help provide hope to animals like Picasso- a 6 year old Labrador Retriever/ American Staffordshire Terrier mix who has been at the Nebraska Humane Society since May 1st.
Picasso is an affectionate and playful dog who arrived at NHS with untreated allergies that caused his skin to turn red, was extremely itchy, and sensitive to being touched. The veterinarians at NHS worked on a treatment plan with an area animal dermatologist to put his skin on the road to recovery and prevent future flare ups. He’s now taking a medication, on a special diet and gets a mousse bath once a week that helps him look and feel like a regular dog again.
Picasso is just one of more than 25,000 animals NHS helps every year, and without our support they can’t provide hope to animals in our community. With your help NHS can continue providing second chances to animals like Picasso!
Won’t you consider helping animals at the Nebraska Humane Society?
