We adopted Maggie in April of 2016. Maggie was a stray whose owners did not claim her. We've had Maggie for 2 years now, and she now knows what it is to have a family! She loves everyone she meets! New dogs still initially frighten her, but once she meets them she is ready to play!!
The Nebraska Humane Society helps animals that are lost or surrendered by their owners, until they can find a forever home. When an animal comes to NHS, they receive the medical attention they need, they receive vaccinations, are spayed or neutered and receive a microchip. When someone adopts from NHS, the adoption fee only pays a small portion of the funds used to do the above. With the economy today, more and more pets are surrendered by their owners as they can no longer afford their needs. As volunteers, Terry and I see firsthand an organization that acts as a voice for the animals.
Please help us reach our fundraising goal. A gift of just $10 will help that many more homeless animals. If you can give more, it isgreatly appreciated. If you can't give we understand. Just click on "Donate" and help Maggie reach her goal
