Little girl Bella Tuffy was looking for a friend Two years ago we found our little Pug Tuffy at the Nebraska Humane Society. He is such a lazy little guy that we thought if we could find another Pug we would adopt it also. Found Bella on the adoption page and made a fast trip into Omaha to meet her. Of course, Tuffy had to go along. Such a sweet little girl she is. They hit it off fine although Bella was quite shy. After getting them home to the farm that afternoon, all was well. They are best buddies. Even though they each have their own bed they prefer to curl up together in the same one. No fighting over food, they both sit and wait for their own bowls. They love to play with their toys but the good boy always gives into the little girl. Bella did develop a kennel cough. Thank heavens Tuffy had had his shots. Not a big thing and this too will pass. Again, we thank the Nebraska Humane Society for helping us fine yet another pet. And by the way, both Pugs love our cat that we also adopted several years ago. |
