Our first pet, Cookie  Our first pet Our first pet came in the form of a beautiful orange female tabby We live in a condo and for sometime, we have been debating adding a pet to our family unit. After much debate, we decided that a cat would be more suitable for condo living than a dog. Growing up, we were always dog people so I was skeptical at fist about brining home a cat. When we saw our cat through the glass at the Humane Society, I was instantly drawn to her elegance and poise. Upon meeting her, the way she interacted with my family sealed the deal. We have only had her for a week and I can tell she is adjusting to her new life very well. She loves attention and likes to be where all the action is. She loves for us to give her snacks and she will meow by the snack door until someone takes pity on her. She is very patient and does well with my three year old son. As a family, we all have come to love her and look forward to many future years with our beloved Cookie. |
