His name was Bond This took place 3 years ago when I adopted a chihuahua/shitzu mix named Bond. In February of 2011 or 2012 I made the journey to Nebraska to adopt my dream dog a pug having found none in Iowa at the time, but to my dismay there were no pugs in Missouri for adoption either however my family insisted that we came to Nebraska to adopt a dog and we would not leave until we did so. So we made our way to the Humane Society in Omaha and as I looked around seeing the dogs up for adoption one caught my eye, he in fact was the only dog not barking in fact the pour thing practically skin and bones cowered in the corner of his cage which for a chihuhua shitzu mix is enormous meant for st bernards and german shepards, then and there I knew he was the dog for me his name.... was Bond. After filling out the necessary paperwork we returned to Iowa during the long trip Bond who I have sense renamed Bandito and I have bonded to the point that he is my tiny little shadow. Bandito is no longer the scared dog I adopted 3 years ago he is no longer skin and bones he is my best friend and the most important part of my life. Thank you Nebraska Humane Society for bringing him to my life. His name was Bond, but you can now call him Bandito. |
