Jax Joins the Clan

When we met Jax we weren't entirely sure what to expect.

When we met Jax we weren't entirely sure what to expect. The staff member told us that he was turned over to the Human Society because he was unable to be potty trained by his previous owners. The staff member also told us that he showed signs of being a fearful dog and had to have special training in order to even be up for adoption. But that didn't matter to us. We fell in love with him the minute he trotted in to the room. He practically got on my lap after he entered and wouldn't get down. He even fell asleep while the staff member was giving us all the take home information.
He was been with us for almost two months now and we have had little to no problems with his potty training.He was a little timid at first and really just wanted to cuddle. Now he wants to play all the time! He is one of the human friendliest dogs I have ever seen. If you give him just a second to smell you, he will fall in love with you after you give him a good stroke behind the ears.
He has made our lives so much better!! We could not imagine a day without him there to wake us up in the morning with a good lick on the cheek or that great prancing nuzzling greeting we get when we get home from work. He is definitely apart of our family and even our housemates, who were against having a dog in the house at first, love him.
Thank you for making it possible for us to bring Jax into our lives. The one question we always ask ourselves is how could anyone have given him up?! But I'm pretty sure the answer is so we could have him!!!
