a new home for sparkles

my husband and i lost our beloved cat of 10 years, he was 5 years when we adoped him from nhs. i wanted another and began to look. i found sparkles or i should say sparkles found me.

It's been two years since we had a feline in our house.  I missed the meowing and cuddeling of our other cat.  But I couldn't bring myself to adopt one again. Many times I went but just sat in the parking lot for 10 min. The pain of losing mr. coffee was terrible and still stung. Finally one day I was looking online and found three I might be interested in.  I asked jesus to help me find a cat that would love us. There in one of the windows was this cute little face and she was pawing at me. I looked at two other cats, but decided sparkles was for us. We have a doxie/cocker who loves and was raised with our other cat. But sparkles was a little worried. We confined her to our room with food and catbox and let her decide if she and when she would come out. It took one week, but she finally joined the family. As you can see from the picture she has taken a liking to our up stairs bedroom that is not occupied. We love her, she loves us.
