Our Goofy Flower  Blossom I didn't really like cats before we adopted Blossom from the Humane Society this past July. My husband has always adored cats and because I brought into our marriage my dog, Bear, I knew he should get the pet he wanted for our first pet together. While at the Humane Society, we saw Blossom and got to play with her for a little while. I think she chose us (mostly me, which is weird) more than the other way. We adopted her the next day and introduced her to Bear. They became great friends after a bit of a transition period. Now one of her favorite things is to lord over Bear from mommy's lap. Her favorite activity is sitting on the dog's blanket and looking at her like she's saying "It's mine now." Bear loves watching her and showing her how to catch the laser. She's our snuggly little brat-cat and we adore her. We love watching her come out of her shell and act like a 4-year-old kitten. |
