Happy Surprise  Happy Surprise Shaky, Scared dog turned happy playful dog. When I met Linus in the encounter room, he was shaky, scared, and somewhat unfocused as his life had changed in the previous days - transitioning from a stray to a member of the humane society family. There was something about him that told me he would be something special. I was so right! After a few weeks of adjustment, he has come to be the most loving, happy, friendly dog. He is a natural fetcher, walker, and loves to give kisses. He also likes to stand on his hind legs and wave with his front legs. I couldn't ask for a better dog. What a surprise he has been. I miss him when I am away from him, even if it is just for an hour. I am excited about our time to come. I graciously thank the humane society for their efforts in saving so many animals and for making me feel welcome when I arrived at the humane society to adopt Linus. Your organization is amazing!
