Mush Face Maddie

Maddie had been at NHS for about 6 months, she had needed hip surgery, medication, therapy, training, and a lot of love!

We brought Maddie home thinking she was going to be alot of work and a huge endevor to take on, but we knew from the get go what we were getting into! Little did we know how amazing she would do physically once we got her into a stable home! Within 2 months she was able to be done with all meds, no more therapy, and would be tearing around the yard and tackling her sister to the ground! When she comes in to visit her old friends they dont even recognize her any more! I cannot tell you what a blessing this madwoman has been to our lives! There isn't a day that goes by that I dont thank God for the staff at NHS for not giving up on this stubburn, hard headed little girl who means so much to our little family, we understand that there is no way they could do what they did for our girl to every little one who comes through their doors. And everyone knows they didnt pick the easiest dog to fix! Once again, thank you, thank you, thank you for helping Princess Maddie, Madelina Ballerina, Princess, Smoosh Face, and any other nick names she may have aquired!

Love, the Paulsons
