Sweet Sadie  Older pets are a wonderful editions to families too! Sadie has been in our household for almost 2 weeks and she has been nothing but a blessing to us all! My oldest daughter and I had gone to the Humane Society to find an older dog to add to our family. We had seen a different dog that we had wanted to check out but when we got there the dog had an adoption already pending. So, we went on our quest to find the perfect dog. To our amazement, there sat sweet Sadie who was excited to see us. She had barked at every other person that walked by her kennel except us. So, we petted her and she licked our hands. Our minds were made up when we got to spend a little one on one time with her. It wasn't us that chose her that day but she chose us. The other dog brought us to the Humane Society that day so that Sadie could find us. What a joy she is and I'm excited to love her for the rest of her life! :) |
