Black Cats Are Not Bad Luck My husband and I adopted Sophie in September of 2012 and we couldn't be happier. We could not have asked for a better cat. I was worried about adopting a four-year-old cat instead of a kitten that we could mold into a good fit for our family. That fear turned out to be completely unfounded. By the end of her first week with us Sophie had learned her new name, stopped hiding, and started acting like she owned the place. She has been the center of our family ever since. We love her so much and are so grateful to the Nebraska Humane Society for putting her in our lives. |
