Sassy and Teddy

A tale of two kitties.

We lost our dog Murphy to cancer in early November and decided to wait until after Christmas to get a new pet. When we visited the Humane Society I was taken by a Siamese cat, but it turned out he was timid and had an upper resperitory infection (common for cats at the Humane Society). He warmed up to us a bit in the meeting room, and since it was two for one week we asked to see another cat. This one was a six month old, very active kitten. We decided to take them both home. Well, Sassy made herself at home right off. It's taken a week, but now Teddy is finally getting over his URI and is acting like a normal cat. He's quite handsome and a good balance for Sassy. They definitely entertain us and are good company and fill the void left by the death of our dog. Hopefully we'll be getting a new dog from the Humane Society later this year.
