Rufas  Rufas 11 years of love let me tell you a story, 11 years ago I went to the NHS to find a Christmas present for John Gillespie. The dog I choose wasa 4 year old featured on the internet and had a box for donations.I fell in love with him at once.(I ended up giving the NHS about 15 for donations). The next day after work I went an got the dog named Rufas. He was prefect for us. gave us many headaches,as well as many joys. He hated thunderstorms(stood on our heads when it stomed at night and shook) and squirrels(broke a window or two to try to chase them). He played on Kennedy freeway. He prefered baby boys to baby girls,but he love all children. We gave him nicknames like chewy(sounded like chewbacca) puppy,son,pup-a-dup,old man and grandpa. He had a partner in crime a beagle named Tillie. He loved steak and knew when my brother came home from work. This morning about 2:50 am we had to put him down because he developed a disease that effects his balance, it might or might not get better with time. Giving his age we tought it would be best to let him join his two sisters Smokie and Peewee( our cats that passed before him). His family misses him and so does his partner in crime. |
