What we knew in mid-December is that we'd be coming home with a cat

What we didn't know is that the cat would end up being the "best cat ever". We brought home Milo, our one year old domestic shorthair, and he immediately took to his new surroundings. He enjoyed exploring his new space as much as we enjoyed watching him do so, and he has been both incredibly playful during the daytime and yet cuddly and affectionate at night. When he went to the vet the whole staff fell in love with him, with the vet herself stating that he was the best cat ever.
By that time, we already knew that. Thank you to all of the staff at the Nebraska Humane Society; we really couldn't have asked for a better addition to our family.
