Maxwell Maximus

He wanted a dog. I did NOT. For months we discussed. One day we looked.

I've suffered a broken heart from the loss of my last dog. Its been years and I still don't want another dog. That's my story. I have two cats. My husband loves dogs. so... maybe a little lap dog? I asked...why do you want another cat? he asks. No, the dog will be HIS. So he should get a dog he wants. So after many months, we finally look online...and get in the car. We looked at many dogs that day. When I saw Max, I knew. Then my husband saw Max. And he was ours. Funny thing is, Maxwell is a Momma's boy. He's so sweet and flirty and charming. He's playful and already protective. We saw a billboard yesterday that says 'You are the best thing to happen to a shelter pet'...truth is Max is the best thing to heal my broken puppy heart. And my husband is such a proud Daddy! Maxwell Maximus is content on the couch. He already sits, stays, fetches, is very good about going outside, and he can catch a treat when you pitch it to him like a baseball! He's been ours for 6 days, and he is so spoiled already! Thank You, NHS, for being there when Max needed you, and when we needed him!
