My purple, loving match  I lost my 14 year old kitty, Hobbes September 15... Being the only one I had to come home to, after her passing it was very painful coming home to an empty house. I decided to look at the NE Humane Society website, and filled out the Meet Your Match. The last question read, "It is most important that my cat is ____". I wrote 'loving'. I showed my friend my MYM form, we decided it couldn't hurt to go look. My match was purple; the first cat I met, sided up next to me and wouldn't leave my side. My last cat was a lap cat, a real cuddler, and I hoped (but didn't expect) to find another. I spent 30-45 minutes with her, and after that I just couldn't leave without her. I would have never imagined it being that easy. Holly is wonderful, she is my perfect match. I look forward to coming home now; she is my cuddly and loving blessing. |
