Who Saved Who?  Sarge After a painful divorce and the death of my beloved 15 yr old cat I decided it was time to adopt from the Nebraska Humane Society. I wasn't looking for any particular breed but knew it would be a cat. I walked into the soft room and sat down. As I was petting two cats another cat struts up barges his way in and jumps on my lap. I thought to myself, "wow this cat just commands attention when he wants it". His name was Mr. T but I thought Sarge as in Sergeant was more fitting. Yes, I picked him although I think it's more like he picked me and he now has his forever home. I've been praised for saving a shelter animal but in reality it's really Sarge who saved me! |
