A Perfect Match We could just tell that Flower, now called Sophie, was a perfect dog for us. After "interviewing" several dogs, we could just tell that Flower, now called Sophie, was a perfect dog for us. As soon as we left the Humane Society with her in the back seat of the pickup, we could tell she wanted us as much as we wanted her! She rested her head on the console between our seats and nudged her nose under my arm and hand within a few minutes. She obeys well, is great with our grandchildren who are ages 1-5, sits quietly by us when we have guests around, enjoys having a bath, looks at us for approval or permission to do things, LOVES to ride in the truck or the mule and learned her name within a few days. She was a stray so all we know about her is that she has had puppies and someone is probably missing a wonderful dog. We wish we could assure her old family that she she is happy and safe and that she loves her new family as much as we love her. |
