Loving Ms. Daisy Mae  Loving Ms. Daisy Mae We recently stopped at the NHS to look for a Boston Terrier pal for our 7 mth old BT that we adopted from the Kearney Animal Shelter. There were none available so we opted to look at an 11 mth old puggle we had seen earlier in the kennel. She had been shaking and shy but slowly warmed up to us the more we talked to her. The pet councilor came back empty handed stating a couple had just requested to visit with her and they had first chance since they had come in previous to us. We chose to wait to see what they decided and shortly after that the other pet councilor brought her in. When I inquired as to why the first couple hadn't adopted her she stated they saw us in back with her and felt we had good chemistry with her. To that couple I say thank you SO MUCH! She loves to run and play with our Murphy so they have become fast friends! She loves Triston our 9 year old and shame on us sleeps soundly with him each night! A bit timid with loud noises and doors but is slowly making progress as she learns to trust us. She is awesome and we all love her greatly! |
