Welcome Home Beauty!  Beauty, our newest family member, "is home." We cannot say enough good things about Beauty our dog, and new family member! We had worries about adopting a dog and how to find a good match. We decided to look at the Humane Society's website, saw the matching program and figured we would give it a try. There we met "Beauty," 1 year old beagle/pug mix, who was already already potty trained (huge bonus if you have ever had experiences with this)! Our 4 year old daughter named her Sleeping Beauty Cinderella Princess (we are calling her Beauty for short). Beauty was very hyper at first, but with a big backyard to run, a consistent daily schedule, and lots of love within a week she had calmed right down. Beauty is still energetic, but in a really fun and manageable way! Beauty is very loving, smart, and trainable; and does awesome with an energetic 4 year old! We are also set up to do training classes and can't wait! The first day we took her home, we went out into our back yard and she wasn't entirely sure what to do. So we just started running, and then she started running with us. Beauty was so excited, she ran huge circles around in the yard until she couldn't run anymore and then laid in the grass with a "huge smile." We knew, and Beauty knew, she was home. |
