The best decision.  Our lives changed forever with the decision to visit the Nebraska Humane Society one random day in August 2011. We weren't sure why we decided to visit or what we were looking for, but those questions were answered when we laid eyes on sweet 6 month old mastiff/lab mix sitting patiently behind the wires of a cage. My husband and I looked at her, than looked at each other, then back at her. Without warning I blurted out, "This is our dog". We signed the papers and took sweet Remy home that night. It was a challenge house training and puppy proofing the apartment, but we have both grown to love Miss Remy as part of the family. She's now fully house broken and learning new tricks! Her favorite game is rope tug-of-war, she loves car rides and trips to the dog park. The love we have found for this rescued animal is beyond measure. |
