A Ray of Sunshine  A Ray of Sunshine Her bright eyes and personality brought a ray of sunshine into our home again. It was early spring and less than a week since I lost my beautiful forever cat after a four year battle with kidney disease. I was grateful for two cats I had at home, but my heart was heavy and sad from the loss of my special girl. I went into PetSmart to buy pet supplies, but I could never resist looking at the kitties who needed loving homes. A beautiful black and white kitten named Mia caught my attention, and when I held her, she wouldn't let me put her down. I had to bring her home since she picked me! Her bright eyes and personality brought a ray of sunshine into our home again. When I wake in the morning, or come home from work, she is waiting for me to pet her and pick her up. She loves to play and cuddle with me and the other cats! The picture is of Mia snuggling with her sister Daisy. |
