Charlie the cat

It was our two year anniversary and I had been asking my then boyfriend (now fiance) for a cat for awhile. He wasn't a "cat person" and was pretty much against the idea of getting a cat but agreed as a gift for me. We went in during one of the cat crisis times and had a lot to choose from. I'd been looking online at one specific cat, but he didn't seem too interested in this particular cat, and instead found another one. A 10 pound tom cat with the head to match. It was love at first site. We took him home then and there. Now that fiance who wasn't a cat person is best friends with Charlie (formerly Brock). Charlie waits for him at the door to come home from work and jumps into bed and sleeps between us every night.
