Finding hope, love and Miss Lady Krystin Abbygail at the NHS  Finding hope, love and Miss Lady Krystin Abbygail at the NHS Miss Lady Krystin Abbygail Anderson-Peters ~ Lady Abbygail brings joy, hope and brightness into our family. She picked us to be her family (servants) thus allowing us the honor of loving and caring for her. In life we hope for only happiness and joy; though sometimes a bit of sadness comes our way. Lady Abbygail's sadness was that her family had to leave her and a bit of their hearts at the NHS one day, our sadness is the loss of our daughter at the age of 23. We needed something to bring back the happiness and joy we were missing. On a bright sunny day in early spring of this year a trip to NHS brought us to the road of healing. Lady Abbygail was lying in her kennel, pretending (yes she is very good at pretending) to not notice anyone, we almost over looked her until she lifted her paw as if to say hello. We had heard about her through Facebook and the Omaha morning show but had not realized she was the same dog. We asked to meet her as she seemed interested in us. That visit was all that was needed to know that we belonged together for the rest of our lives and that she could fill a spot in our broken hearts. We think that God and Miss Lady Krystin Abbygail aligned to bring us together. Everyone in our neighborhood, family and even perfect strangers love her, but most of all she is a bright light in what once was a dark place for our family. Her little routines, task and rules that she has directed us to live by are being followed with love, laughter, and excitement each day. To the family that had to leave Lady Abbygail: Please know that she is loved, cared for, and most of all happy. Thank you for caring enough for Miss Lady Krystin Abbygail to share her with us, we thank you and God each day for her love. We love you Lady Krystin Abbygail. |
