We adopted Dexter as a 2 month old. It was love at first sight. He sat on the bench next to me in the "get acquainted" room and snuggled against me. I was hooked. He has been, as we all refer to him, the greatest dog ever. He is so kind and loving. He lies next to our bed at night and as soon as my husband gets up for work in the morning Dex is up on the bed with his head on my husband's pillow! He is a great baby sitter too. We took in a lost kitten early this spring and when she wandered too far in the yard, Dexter picks her up, ever so gently, by the back of the neck and brings her back to the house. We don't know what we ever did without him in our home. Thank you so much for him!
