Adult Skills (4 week class)
**RECOMMENDED for newly adopted adult dogs**
Adult Skills is a basic training class is ideal for any dog over the age of 18 months that has never taken a training class. Dogs must not be aggressive. Dogs will learn name recognition, recalls, sit/down, stay, stand, leave-it, walking on a loose leash and much more. Handlers will understand proper reinforcement for positive behaviors and receive assistance on typical problems encountered during an adult dog's life. There will also be a concentration on proper socialization.
What to bring to this class
Please bring a baggie of small soft treats. Dogs need to be on a 4 or 6 foot nylon or leather leash. No retractable leashes. The type of collar/harness is the handler's choice.
