Hundreds of dishes have to be sanitized every day at the Nebraska Humane Society to help control the spread of germs and diseases. The most vulnerable animals are babies. Unfortunately, the nursery dishwasher at NHS gave out sooner than we expected. We're hoping to replace the dishwasher with a longer-lasting model that can sterilize dishes in just 15 minutes. That will allow us to have sanitized dishes in the nursery available at all times. We know that routine costs can seem a bit boring, but you will be helping to provide the best environment for animals at NHS while they wait for a home.
