What is the International Jumping Horse Show?
The International Event presented by RFDTV:
This is a premier indoor equestrian show jumping sporting competition in
the country providing fun activities to engage and entertain families
across the Midwest.
The
International will host several jumping events and family fun
activities over the weekend of April 20th-21st 2012. There will be
daytime and evening competitions. Come and see The Cowgirl Chicks and
Brulé, honor the military, and more.

will
be a fun and exciting competition where riders and horses compete
against the clock. Within one round, the fastest horse around the course
with out knocking any poles down wins

· This
is
the most challenging course for rider and horse. There are two rounds.
The second round is the jump off. Rider and horse that clears the most
jumps in the quickest time wins.

Equine Expo: (free to the public)
The International will not just be an incredible equestrian competition,
but it will provide educational opportunities for emerging athletes as
well as all ages of the general public. The Equine Expo will have
exhibits that provide an education on all aspects
of horses and the sport so people of all ages leave The International
with more knowledge and experience than they brought. The Equine Expo
will have Equimania, our feature display, a petting zoo, a living
historical timeline from the Calvary days, and many
others. Come and meet Brule', All American Cowgirl Chicks , Harry De
Leyer, (from the book 80 dollar champion) and Smoke the donkey from
Afghanistan.
Featuring EquiMania:
This is a fully interactive series of educational stations and displays
that cover a variety of topics from anatomy to care and feeding, to
careers in the horse field and to safety. The exhibits are designed for
very young children through teenagers so families
of all ages can enjoy the experience while learning more about the world
of horses.
